PLEASE TAKE NOTICE; on November 2nd at 6:00 PM the Putnam Valley Town Board will hold a Public Hearing to hear public comments on the 2016 Preliminary Fire Department Budget.
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING; on November 2nd the Putnam Valley Town Board will hold a Public Hearing to hear public comments on the 2016 Preliminary Town/Highway and District Budget.
Pursuant to Section 108 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the Town Officers are hereby specified as follows:
Supervisor $ 70,366.20
Councilpersons, four@ $ 13,130.00 each
Town Clerk $ 61,578.96
Highway Superintendent $ 88,584.01

Putnam Valley Food Pantry
The Putnam Valley Community Food Pantry provides both perishable and non-perishable grocery items to approximately 200 families each week.
The Pantry is open every Saturday morning from 10:00 - 11:00 am and is located at 337 Peekskill Hollow Road, Putnam Valley, NY 10579.

How to Help your Neighbors in Need this Holiday Season
What: The Putnam Valley Community Food Pantry is collecting frozen turkeys, frozen chickens and nonperishable side dishes for community members in need who might otherwise not have a Thanksgiving dinner.
When: Donations can be dropped off before 9:30 am on Saturday, November 19.
Where: The Putnam Valley Community Food Pantry, located at Grace United Methodist Church, 337 Peekskill Hollow Rd., Putnam Valley. (Back of the building)
P.S.: If you wish to stay and volunteer on Saturday the 19th, we welcome your help since we will probably have a record number of families attending the food pantry that morning.
The Putnam Valley Community Food Pantry’s mission is to increase access to food and to supply the ingredients for healthy balanced meals for struggling families in northern Westchester and Southern Putnam communities.

When you see BLUE LIGHTS - please PULL OVER!! It will only take a few seconds - but in an emergency seconds count! A car with a flashing BLUE LIGHTS is a volunteer firefighter responding to an emergency.
BLUE LIGHTS DO NOT give volunteers any special privileges. They are courtesy lights only. The BLUE LIGHTS is to alert other drivers that we are on our way to an emergency. It's up to other drivers to pull over and let us go by! Please let us pass. It could give us the extra time to save a life or stop a fire before it's out of control. In a few minutes, these same people will be responding with a red light and siren.

Coffee Hour Fellowship are offered Sundays after the service, along with Adult Bible Studies. Confirmation Classes are held in the upper classroom at 10:30 am with Pastor Bill Vangor.
Sunday School for children in grades K-5 is available throughout the school year. Classes begin on Sunday during the 9 am service - children begin with their parents at the worship service, and then are led to the classrooms after a blessing at communion. Classes end between 10:30 and 10:45 am.
